On the 12th of October, there was an annual party that I would and could never forget, it change everything around me.
I remember I was standing next to the snack table when a boy named Keith came up to me and asked for a dance.
I didn’t agree but he was complaining and dragging me to the dance floor.
In a quick second I found a handsome boy stood up to Keith while stopping him in forcing me to dance with me.
Both looked as if they were going to start a fight, luckily the handsome boy decided to forget about it and took me further away from Keith.
We walked towards balcony and watch the night sky with the bright full moon and thousands of stars dancing around it.
He took my hand and we danced for hours under the night sky.
During that time, I felt my heart racing, I found my prince.
My first love.
Unfortunately that night ended so quickly and he needed to go.
I broke my heart pendant in half and gave it to him as a gift for helping me.
He climbed down from the balcony and disappeared into the night but before he disappeared he waved at me and I waved back.
I knew he was party crashing and I am glad that he did.
I will one day find my prince again.
* Bang *
“ Dora, What are you doing? Have you been paying any attention to the board?”
“ Sorry miss!”
