9. Jealousy grows and Heart breaks
Once the annual party has ended the six of us returned back to school, Damien has decided to turn over a new leaf and came with me back to Australia. The house has become filled with happiness, now that so many people is under the same roof. I had invited Yuko, Gaara, and Darren over to stay at my house as it would be easier to deal with the enemies as long as we are together. All the boy’s room were on the right side of the 3rd floor as for Belinda, yuki and I was on the left side. In the morning when arriving in front of the school gate, I noticed Darren’s turned from a happy and cheerful expression to an angry and irritated expression. I look around, through the window and I noticed Keith, before I could get out and tell him not to go over board, Darren had already rushed out of the limo.
“ What are you doing here? Trying to drag her to do something else she doesn’t want to do” yelled Darren
“ Do you still think I’m that immature? I just came to say hi to my friend and for now on I have moved to this school permanently” replied Keith calmly. I saw Darren’s mood was getting worse by the second and about to start a fight.
“ Umm... We have to get to class. Damien, why don’t you go with Keith to the office and get your timetable and stuff.” I interrupted.
“ Sure, onee-sama. Lets go Keith”
I took a sigh of relief that Keith had left but through out the day his mood did not improve as Keith moved into our class along with that they nearly had a fight in class. Luckily, it was lunch time and both went their separate ways.
“ Dora, So what has happened between you and Darren. Ever since the annual party, he has been very close to you.” asked Belinda
“ Yeah even on the plane, he sat next to you” said Yuki
“ Yeah making me sit next to Gaara where we argued all the way back.” joked Belinda
“ Well, I thought you would want to and Darren has my other half of the pendant.” I smiled. We were in the middle of our conversation when Keith popped out of no where and asked to see me privately. I agree thinking that he wanted to tell me something important. It ended up being nothing important only that he wanted to irritate Darren some more and hopefully make him confess to me. I was thinking about it but I felt like it was wrong and decided to disagree. Before I could tell him, I heard footsteps behind me and Keith’s hand slip under mine.
“ LET..HER..GO!!” yelled Darren
“ Why should I? It is not like you her boyfriend yet right?” smiled Keith
“ ... Just let her go” yelled Darren while pulling me away from Keith.
“ I could say the same thing” said Keith. Before I knew they broke into a fight through Keith didn’t fight back only just blocking the attacks. I wasn’t sure what I should do I didn’t want anyone of them to get hurt. One of Darren’s punches laded in Keith’s stomach making him unable to block the next attack. I couldn’t let anything get anymore worse, I jumped in front blocking the attack with my right hand.
“ Dora!? Are you ok?” asked Keith.
“ Dora!?...” whispered Darren.
“ Arr... wrong hand to block... *sigh*... It hurts” I mumbled
“ Why did you do that?” whispered Darren.
“ I don’t want to see 2 people I care about to ... fight... each other” I said.
“ Darren, You idiot! I will not let you go for this” yelled keith
“ Stop!” I yelled “ Ok, please stop this..*sigh*”
“ So, you care more about him. That’s why you blocked my punch for him...” Darren whispered
“ Darren, that’s not i it, I just...”
“ Fine, I’m going...”
“ Darren! Wait...” It was too late, he had already disappeared. I felt the tears that start to gather up in my eyes.
“ I’m sorry, Dora...maybe I went a tad too far... I’m really...” said Keith.
“ It’s ok, not fault. It’s my fault. Please excuse me...” I interrupted before running off. The whole day, I hadn’t seen Darren even when we finished school and returned home he was not there, At dinner time when everyone gather around the dinner table he was not there.
“ Hey, what happened to Darren? Haven’t seen him all day.” asked Yuki.
“ Not sure, he disappeared during lunch he seemed a little...*Clatter* is something wrong?” asked Yuko.
“ Huh!? Oh... nothing... umm...I’m not hungry so... I’m going to go for ride a Blossom. See you guys later.” I stumbled before running off to the stables. I never felt this before, a pain in my heart that is not like any pain I have ever experienced. Worse than the one on my wrist, right now the only thing that can get my mind off it was jumping on my horse and riding it into the wind.
