11. Gaara’s Time to Shine
It has been two days since, Darren confessed to me. Unfortunately, I had a high fever the last two days, however Darren had never left me side during that time. I guess it is his way of apologizing for leaving me for 7 days and not saying a word. Darren and I went for a walk outside, he was holding on to me in case I fainted. I faked it a few times cause I like to see his worried expression, quite fun. In the middle of our walk we saw Gaara and Belinda on the way though, Gaara was acting a little different than usual. He wasn’t arguing as much as before with Belinda.
“ Hi, you guys. What are you guys doing? also Gaara you seem a little weird?” I greeted.
“ What!? No...nothing is wrong. I just need to”
“ ...ask me something? *sigh* You keeping saying that and then insulted me.” interrupted Belinda
“ No, I mean, yes. I mean... I will be right back” Gaara stumbled before he left, while I smiled. I wanted to discuss something with Belinda about it and convinced Darren to let us talk so he chased after Gaara. He did hesitate at first though, but I reassured him.
“ Belinda, what is happening between you and Gaara?”
“ I’m not sure, he is acting very weird. he says I need to ask you something but then just insult me. I don’t mind the insult, I argue back like I usually would but he didn’t and mumbles to himself,”
“ Ahh... I see whats happening”
“ What!? whats happening?”
“ You will see later, so don’t worry”
“ Hmmm....” While Belinda and I were talking Darren had a talk with Gaara.
“ Hey Gaara, what was that just now? Your not acting like yourself these days?”
“ I know, I’n just really nervous, I want to confess t her but I can’t do it. How did you do it?”
“ Uhh... I’m not sure, just went with my instincts and gave what I think she likes. Just you know think of something she likes and umm... actually I’m not sure. Think of her and confess to her the way you think she will like it.”
“ Uhh... I see”
“ Just confess to her in a way that will more her”
“ Ok...” For the whole day, I didn’t see Gaara but Darren said that he was looking for something. That night Darren took me on our first date, Yuki and Yuko were also on a date while Damien was at a friend’s house he recently made.This leaves Belinda and Gaara in the house and a perfect time for Gaara to confess. Belinda was in the living room watching T.v and playing on the computer. In front of the living room door, Gaara was indecisive if he should go in or not but, he decided to go for it and enter the room.
“ You took a long time.”
“ What do you mean?”
“ I mean that you stood at the door for a long time.”
“ No, I mean I was just... you know... I mean... I need to tell you something”
“ Go on...”
“ Umm... Your hair looks like you ran into a bush. You should go clean it”
“ Hey! Is that what you wanted to say? Maybe you should change you hair”
“ ...There is something else I want to say”
“ Go on...”
“ Umm... You suck at that game I can play better”
“ Oh yeah~ then try beat my high score Mr~ here you go... Gaara... Where did he go? Hey when did this get here? Wonder what is in this card and small box”
Belinda opened the car and read:

is a set your the moon and am

Belinda was stunned, immediately she opened the small box and found a necklace with a moon pendant.
“ He still remember the story” thought Belinda. The story of the moon and star where the star fell in love with the moon, no matter where the moon goes the star will always be there. The confessed to the moon that he’ll always be by the moon’s side while the moon fell in love with the star and they’ll always be together with eternal love.
“ Is he telling me the truth or is it a lie” thought Belinda, she wanted to know what this is about and went looking for Gaara.
“ What is this Gaara? Are you trying to trick or insult me again?”
“ No, I mean...That isn’t what I mean...:
“ Then what? This is the worst insult you have done”
“ No, I wasn’t trying to insult you. I was... I was...”
“ I just can’t believe it. I’m going”
“ No wait. Belinda. I really, really like you. I’m the star after the kind and beautiful moon.” After Belinda purposely trick Gaara in saying his feeling towards Belinda, she turned around and smiled.
“ I know, right after I read the letter. Just want to hear you say it.” Belinda smiled as she hugged and thanked Gaara for her present. Belinda and Gaara have started to date; we had a couple’s date where Yuki and Yuko, Belinda and Gaara and me and Darren go out as a couple of couples.
